Jakob Johanson, the knitting Finnish police officer from the Hildur novels, has had ample time during his years in Iceland to create many new wool sweaters. Following the popular Hildur and Jakob knitting patterns, the collection now grows with new designs inspired by other characters from the series. Hildur Wool Sweaters presents 11 traditional Icelandic sweater patterns, each named after a different character.
Through these patterns, new perspectives on the characters’ lives come to light. The designs were created by Icelandic knitwear designer Sigríður Sif “Sigga” Gylfadóttir.
